Services

I give begginer-novice riding lessons in the Tri Cities area of TN. The barn that I teach at is located at;

I have most of my instructor experiance with beginners and was the "Go To Girl" for my advanced friends when they wanted their equitation primped.  Over my riding career I have trained and shown in a number of disciplines including; Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Extreme Trail Competitions, Reining, Horsemanship, Working Cattle, Barrel Racing, and Jumping.  I am also knowledgeable with showmanship and halter preparation, training, and showing. 

 Stock Breeds are what I grew up around; Appaloosas, POAs, and my favorite- The American Quarter Horse! From age 10-14 I showed on the POA circuit and am very familiar with the breed and show association.  Though I've grew up on Quarter Horses, I never got into showing on the AQHA circuit due to the politics and drama.  I'm right at home at a rodeo though, as that was my original style of riding. 

Fortunetly, or unfortunetly some times, I am small enough to still ride ponies.  I was always the test rider for new lesson ponies, or the-as I like to call it- "Pony Behavioral Modificator"  I know all about their little tricks, and I'm pretty good at bringing out the best in them. I'm right at home on the larger horses as well( believe it or not their less intimidating ;p)
